Inter Milan have reignited their interest in Manchester City midfielder Yaya Touré, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian club have long been admirers of Yaya Touré ever since ex-coach Roberto Mancini tried to sign him during his tenure as Inter manager. Mancini repeatedly pushed his owners to make a move for Touré but nothing ever materialised because of financial reasons. Inter had been looking at acquiring AS Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman but have lined up Yaya Touré as an alternative Italian publication La Gazzetta claim.
Of course, Yaya Touré’s contract at Manchester City ends this summer and a move on a free would be on the cards for the Ivorian should he not extend his stay in Manchester.
