Sergio Agüero has been linked with a move away for as long as he’s been here, but recent rumours have refused to go away after the striker was dropped for 19-year-old Gabriel Jesus, before he suffered an injury.
Since then, Agüero has been reinstated in the Manchester City side and is starting to pick up his form. He’s now scored four goals in two games, with Guardiola describing his performance against Huddersfield Town as ‘the best’.
And speaking to Onda Cero after the game yesterday, Sergio said that he’s not thinking about Real Madrid and wants to stay in Manchester but he will see on his future in June.
“I’m not thinking about Madrid or any other [clubs]. My only focus is on playing. I have three months left to give my best.
“I don’t want to think about my future. My intention is to remain but we shall see what happens in June. I hope that we can win a title which is the most important thing.
“One thing is what the club says and another what the club tells me. The club can say what it wants but in June they will have to meet with me.”
