Manchester City vs. Monaco: Starting Lineups & TV Information

Champions League nights return to the Etihad Stadium with the beginning of the knockout stage of Europe’s most prestigious cup competition!

When City drew Monaco last year, many fans were happy with what seemed like an easier draw than the usual giants. But the free-scoring Ligue 1 leaders have proven to be a terrifying attacking force and could pose serious problems to Pep Guardiola’s ambitions over two games. Many of their young and exciting stars are being linked with Europe’s elite, at least six of them with City in the past week or so!

Tonight’s referee is 39-year-old Antonio Mateu Lahoz of Spain, and here are the teams Guardiola and his counterpart, Leonardo Jardim, have opted for:

Manchester City XI: Caballero, Sagna, Stones, Otamendi, Fernandinho, Toure, Sterling, De Bruyne, Silva, Sane, Aguero

Monaco XI: Subasic, Sidibe, Glik, Raggi, Mendy, Fabinho, Bakayoko, Silva, Lemar, Mbappe, Falcao

Today’s match can be viewed on BT Sport 2 in the UK. A full list of TV coverage from around the world can be found here.
