AS Monaco have published their 21-man squad list for tomorrow night’s Champions League Round of 16 first-leg clash with Manchester City.
Other than Brazilian pair Gabriel Boschilia (long-term injury) and Jemerson (suspended), Leonardo Jardim has a full squad to choose from. And if you have been following the transfer gossip lately, many of these names will seem familiar – City are said to want or have wanted at least six of them!
The most recognisable player in the squad is club captain, Radamel Falcao, who disappointed in the Premier League with Manchester United and Chelsea, but has been rejuvenated for the principality club this season with 22 goals in 28 appearances.
Of the other names, Kamil Glik and João Moutinho are two high-quality veterans who compliment a legion of exciting young talent, admired by Europe’s biggest clubs, including Bernardo Silva, Tiemoué Bakayoko, Thomas Lemar and Kylian Mbappé.
