Manchester City have been strongly linked with a move for Benfica goalkeeper Ederson Moraes in recent months and O Jogo report that the club are well aware of how much it will take to take him away from the Portugese club.
O Jogo say that the 23-year-old goalkeeper is on the radar of numerous major European clubs, however Pep Guardiola’s side leads the race.
Ederson recently put pen to paper in a new contract deal which saw his release clause raised to €60 million, however it is said that he could be available for around €40 million.
Benfica are confident of getting a figure around that mark for the in-form goalkeeper due to the amount of interest in his services, as well as his high release clause. That, and his impressive performances, his game against Dortmund on Tuesday night has been a particular standout.
