Problemas para el Manchester City. Gabriel Jesús casi tres meses de baja
— Alfredo Martínez (@Alfremartinezz) February 14, 2017
This has yet to be confirmed by Manchester City, but given the specific diagnosis reported by Brunati, the reports could be accurate.
This comes as a huge blow to both the club and Gabriel Jesus himself, who has made an explosive start to life at the Etihad. He was substituted early in yesterday’s game against Bournemouth with what looked like a relatively minor foot problem, but should this information be true, he will miss much of what remains of the 2016-17 season.
13:10 UPDATE: The source of the injury news has been revealed as former player Denilson, who spoke to Gabriel Jesus’ brother. We continue to await for any official word.
Information regarding Gabriel Jesus broken metatarsal comes from ex-player Denilson who apparently spoke to Gabriel's brother today.
