Ronaldinho has labelled Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling as a world-class player in a recent interview with FourFourTwo.
Ronaldinho went onto say that Raheem Sterling is one of the world’s best players and that it fills him with emotion to see him performing well for his club.
Sterling has come under scrutiny in recent years, especially after his England performances at Euro 2016 for which he has been used as a scapegoat, however the Brazilian legend believes he is capable of many things, some of which he is showing this season. Sterling has become an integral part in Pep Guardiola’s side this season and has been on the scoresheet multiple times so far.
Speaking to FourFourTwo, Ronaldinho said:
“It’s very emotional for me to inspire world-class players – people like Pogba and Sterling, they are already among the best and it’s great to see them scoring the goals that make people love the sport even more.”
