According to beIN Sports, Manchester City have rejected an offer for in-form midfielder Aaron Mooy from an unknown Championship side.
Mooy has become a fan-favourite during his time at Huddersfield Town and the club will want to keep hold of him, but they face competition from Manchester City themselves who are considering recalling him for first-team cover.
Pep Guardiola has seen cover in midfield narrowed at times due to injuries for Fernando and Fabian Delph whilst Fernandinho has missed 7 games due to suspension.
This is sure to worry Pep Guardiola with a cheap and quick solution to the problem being recalling the Australian midfielder who has become a prominent part in Huddersfield Town’s promotion bid.
According to the report, the rejected offer tallied up to $11 million due to a number of add-ons, however interest from high-flying Championship clubs and Premier League clubs added to his current form means his value is constantly increasing.
