Manchester City and Juventus willing to trigger Sevilla players release clause this January

According to reports over in Spain, Manchester City and Juventus are set to battle it out as both clubs prepare to trigger the release clause of Steven N’Zonzi this January in order to snap up the in-form midfielder.

El Confidencial report that both Manchester City and Juventus are willing to trigger the €30 million release clause for the Sevilla player who previously played for Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers in England.

However taking N’Zonzi away from Sevilla is likely to be harder than simply triggering his release clause and it is believed that he would rather stay in Seville this season due to their current performance.

Sevilla are looking to reward N’Zonzi’s fine form at the club with a new contract amid fears that Manchester City and Juventus are set to trigger his release clause, but whether the midfielder would want to stay on for another season remains to be seen.
