Andre Marriner will take charge of this Saturday’s big game between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium.
The experienced 46-year-old from Birmingham will be overseeing his first City game since November, when the Blues took three points on the road at Burnley. His most recent Spurs game was their 3-0 thrashing of Hull in December.
Marriner was also the referee for the reverse fixture this season at White Hart Lane, when City were comprehensively outplayed and were beaten 2-0 by Mauricio Pochettino’s men. He booked four players, two on either side, in a game that passed without any major controversy.
The match officials for this Saturday’s game in full are:
Referee: Andre Marriner
Assistants: S Beck, A Garratt
Fourth official: Mike Jones
