Manchester City to face Crystal Palace or Bolton away in the FA Cup 4th Round

Manchester City have again been drawn away from home in the FA Cup 4th Round and will face either Crystal Palace or Bolton Wanderers.

Premier League side Palace were held away at Bolton in the FA Cup 3rd Round, meaning they will have a replay at Selhurst Park on January 17 with the winners hosting City in the 4th Round.

If Palace, who will be the strong favourites to overcome Bolton, do win, it’ll be yet another top-flight team City have to bypass in a domestic trophy, and would be the fifth away game at a Premier League side in a row in the FA Cup.

Blues will be hoping for a Bolton victory, not only because they are a League One side and thus weaker opposition on paper, but because it would be a local away day with a big allocation at the Macron Stadium.
