Manchester City vs. Burnley: Starting Lineups & TV Information

Another disappointing and fruitless trip to Anfield left Manchester City with a huge mountain to climb if they’re to have any chance of winning the Premier League this season. City are now out of the top four, a whole 10 points behind leaders Chelsea. However, second place Liverpool are only 4 points ahead, so City have an immediate target of getting back into a Champions League spot amid fierce competition.

Today’s opponents are Burnley, strong at home but poor on the road. Their last defeat at home was to City in the reverse fixture just over a month ago, so on paper City should be able to win comfortably today. However, this season has already taught us to take nothing for granted.

Lee Mason is this afternoon’s referee and here are the lineups selected by Pep Guardiola and Sean Dyche.

Manchester City XI: Bravo, Sagna, Kolarov, Otamendi, Clichy, Navas, De Bruyne, Fernandinho, Yaya Touré, Sterling, Iheanacho

Burnley XI: Heaton, Lowton, Keane, Mee, Ward, Boyd, Hendrick, Gudmundsson, Arfield, Barnes, Gray

Today’s match is NOT on TV in the UK but radio commentary is scheduled on BBC Radio Manchester. A full list of TV coverage from around the world can be found here.
