Raheem Sterlign is returning to full match fitness after a few weeks out with an injury sustained in City’s 2-1 victory away at Burnley.
Pep Guardiola is hoping that the England international will be back for the trip to Leicester City at the weekend as City look to bounce back to form.
Raheem Sterling was set to return to the squad against Chelsea at the weekend however he was withdrawn late on after failing a fitness test. The winger also missed City’s Champions League tie against Celtic last night and Pep Guardiola has confirmed that he wasn’t quite ready to return to action.
“He’s much better, he was not ready for Celtic. Hopefully he will be ready for Leicester.”
