Manchester City and Liverpool are ready to go head-to-head with each other in order to capture the signing of Schalke left-back Sead Kolasinac.
Manchester City and Liverpool are reportedly both ready to go head-to-head with each other in order to capture the signing of Schalke left-back Sead Kolasinac, according to German publication Sport Bild.
City are looking to increase their options in defence due to aging full-back options, and 23-year-old Sead Kolasinac is attracting the attention of Pep Guardiola.
Sead Kolasinac will be out-of-contract at the end of the season and is therefore free to negotiate with clubs in January and City are said to be amongst those leading the chase.
The Bosnian full-back has started eight games this season, getting on the scoresheet twice and notching up four assists.
It’s not the first time the defender has been linked with City, Sport Bild also reported a potential move back in November.
