The 18-year-old is very highly thought of at the Etihad and is currently out on loan at La Liga club Deportivo Alavés, though to date has rarely featured for the first team.
García made his professional debut for City against Sunderland in the League Cup last year, then featured again in the next round against Crystal Palace, scoring the fifth goal in a 5-1 demolition. He made his Premier League debut in March 2016, replacing Yaya Touré against Aston Villa.
Manu joined Manchester City for a fee in the region of €250,000, officially becoming a City player in January 2014 after turning 16.
