Manchester City vs. Barcelona: Starting Lineups & TV Information

Is this the night when Manchester City finally defeat Barcelona? In five attempts over the last two-and-a-half years, City have failed to defeat the Catalan giants and lost all five. Tonight, there may be a feeling that at least a draw is achievable, after an encouraging first half performance in the reverse fixture, before mistakes were made and punished.

City must be wary of referee Viktor Kassai, who dished out two red cards in the recent PSG vs. Arsenal Champions League tie. City have been the recipients of red cards in four of their five competitive fixtures against Barcelona, and any hope of getting a result will be boosted by keeping eleven men on the pitch.

Old friends Pep Guardiola and Luis Enrique have named their starting lineups for tonight and they are as follows:

City XI: Caballero; Zabaleta, Stones, Otamendi, Kolarov; Fernandinho, Gundogan; Sterling, De Bruyne, Silva; Aguero.

Barcelona XI: Ter Stegen; Roberto, Mascherano, Umtiti, Digne; Busquets, Gomes, Rakitic; Messi, Suarez, Neymar.

Today’s match can be viewed on BT Sport 2 in the UK. A full list of TV coverage from around the world can be found here.
