Two Manchester City players nominated for the Ballon d’Or award

Two Manchester City players have been nominated for the prestigious Ballon d’Or award, which has been revealed by France Football.

The list is being revealed throughout the day by France Football and Sergio Aguero was part of the first five to be nominated, whilst Kevin De Bruyne was announced as a nomination during the reveal of the second group of five.

The two Manchester City stars have received recognition throughout the world after lighting up the Premier League on numerous occasions and it is no real surprise that both have been listed for the prestigious award.

Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne join the Ballon d’Or list which currently includes:

Sergio Aguero
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Gareth Bale
Gianluigi Buffon
Cristiano Ronaldo
Kevin De Bruyne
Paulo Dybala
Diego Godin
Antoine Griezmann
Gonzalo Higuain

There are 20 players yet to be announced, and they will be revealed in groups of five at 11:00 BST, 13:00, 15:00 and 17:00.
