City receive major boost ahead of Everton and Barcelona clashes

Kevin De Bruyne will return from injury for the Barcelona game on October 19, according to a respected Belgian journalist.

According to Kristof Terreur, Kevin De Bruyne could return from his injury as soon as this week and could be in the squad to face Everton. Although a return against the Toffees is unlikely, it can’t be ruled out.

De Bruyne’s rehabilitation is going well and the Belgian star is away with his family as he recovers from his injury. Yesterday, De Bruyne posted a family picture on Twitter captioned “recovery in the sun” so there aren’t any signs of potential setbacks.

The prolific midfielder was taken off with injury during City’s 3-1 victory over Swansea and was expected to be out for 3 and a half weeks. According to the latest reports, he will recover in time for City’s Chamapions League visit to Barcelona next week.
