The level of talent in Manchester City’s blossoming academy has been described as ‘mind-blowing’. The City Football Academy is swimming in great young prospects at every age group, all given access to state-of-the-art training facilities and elite coaching.
But no matter how many prospects are on-board, Manchester City’s revered army of scouts are scouring the globe for more wonderkids to add to the ranks.
One of the latest to be watched is Atalanta striker Rilind Nivokazi, a 16-year-old striker with Kosovan heritage, who also represents Italy’s under-17 national team.
According to TMW, City and Ajax had scouts at the most recent game involving the youngster, who has scored 5 goals in 4 games so far this season.
Nivokazi is without a professional contract, which would facilitate an eventual move to City, Ajax, or other club with eyes on him.
Nivokazi is just one of many young players being watched by City’s talent-spotters. Lazio striker, Alessandro Rossi, a 19-year-old with 9 goals in just 4 games this season, is also being monitored by City representatives, his agent confirmed to Gianluca Di Marzio on Saturday.
