City Twitter: Blues have their say on Spurs defeat – should four players be axed?

Recently, Pep Guardiola said that he would learn a lot once Manchester City suffered their first defeat of the season. Yesterday, City succumbed to a 2-0 loss at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane, so we asked the question – what did Pep Guardiola learn?

Fernando and Navas – pants? Jacob certainly thinks so and he believes Sagna and Clichy should be first choice fullbacks:

Dave wasn’t too impressed with Navas either and he also thinks the first choice fullbacks shouldn’t be Zabaleta and Kolarov:

And another…

And another… we could go on forever, really:

Mike was straight to the point with no messing around going on – ruthless!

Too many games in too little time? Could the squad be a little jaded? The international break may have come at a good time:

Luke’s not convinced by the overall work rate of the team at White Hart Lane – he believes that January could see a lot of movement:

Paul believes the performance was so bad at the back that he didn’t even notice we had a defence – honestly Paul, we did!

Sané shouldn’t have been benched and we are reliant on Kevin De Bruyne, says Finn:

Maybe a bit extreme, Kris:

Lastly, thank you for your suggestion Philippa, but sometimes it is harder than it seems…
