Both Brahim Diaz and Pablo Maffeo have been called up to the City squad to face Swansea in the EFL Cup tomorrow night, according to their agency, Media Base Sports.
The call-up to the squad will come as no surprise to Pablo Maffeo, who enjoyed an impressive competitive City debut last month, as he helped to keep a clean sheet against Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League.
The inclusion will come as a major surprise to Brahim Diaz however, as despite his obvious talent, this will be his first involvement with the senior squad, at the young age of 17. Diaz signed for City from Malaga back when he was just 14 years old, and those who have regularly watched him play in the EDS and U18s have been extremely impressed by what they have seen.

Media Base Sports represent some of the biggest names in world football such as Pep Guardiola, Luis Suarez and Andres Iniesta, but have since deleted their tweet which confirmed the young Spaniards’ places in the match-day squad.
Regardless of whether they appear for City tomorrow night, both have very bright futures ahead of them, and have clearly caught the eye of Pep Guardiola.
