Guardiola indirectly declares interest in THREE Gladbach players

According to BILD, Pep Guardiola has declared three Borussia Mönchengladbach players as “very exciting”.

Pep Guardiola and Gladbach sporting director, Max Eberl, met up after the game last night and had a half-hour conversation in which he called Mahmoud Dahoud (20), Andreas Christensen (20) and Thorgan Hazard (23) “very exciting” players.

Mahmoud Dahoud rejected a new contract with the German side over the summer, meaning that his current deal will expire at the end of the 2017/18 campaign. If the player doesn’t sign a new deal, then Gladbach may well look to cash in on the player.

Max Eberl had the following to say about the meeting that took place:

“I told him that I at the end of his tenure never could understand the harsh criticism of him. In return, he has unfortunately told me that he finds some players very exciting.”

If any deals will go ahead is yet to be known, but if Pep Guardiola declares someone a very exciting player, then there’s likely some interest.
