The Manchester derby is here! We’re less than an hour away from the first City vs. United game of the Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho eras, after a scheduled pre-season friendly was postponed during a farcical tour to China for both clubs.
Old Trafford plays host to the first derby of the season, with both sides having made flawless starts to the Premier League campaign, earning three wins apiece. City also won the double header over Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League qualifier, meaning Pep’s mean have played five and won five.
With several players returning late from international duty, both Pep and Mourinho have had selection dilemmas, but the team sheets are now in. Claudio Bravo makes his City debut, while Pep starts teenager Kelechi Iheanacho up front. Mkhitaryan and Lingard start for United ahead of Martial and Mata.
