While it is clear that Argentine midfielder Bruno Zuculini will never feature in Manchester City’s first-team plans, the 23-year-old remains at the club and is again poised for a loan move this summer.
Zuculini has spent time on loan at Valencia, Córdoba, Middlesbrough and AEK Athens since his arrival from Racing Club de Avellaneda in 2014, but has failed to make much of an impression during his two years in Europe to date.
According to the Rayo Herald, Zuculini is about to return to Spain with a loan move to Segunda División side Rayo Vallecano. It is reported that he attended Vallecano’s 0-0 draw with Valladolid yesterday at the Estadio del Rayo Vallecano ahead of his move.
Furthermore, journalist Carlos Sánchez Blas claims that Zuculini underwent his medical earlier today, meaning only an announcement is missing now to confirm his move to the Spanish second division side.
BRUNO ZUCULINI, mediocentro argentino de 23 años, está pasando el reconocimiento médico con el Rayo.
