Claudio Bravo has arrived in Manchester to complete his move from Barcelona to Manchester City.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper landed moments ago at Manchester Airport and is will now undergo a medical and contract signing ahead of becoming City’s new first-choice goalkeeper.
Bravo will join the Blues in a deal reported to be worth up to £17 million and will earn in the region of £100,000 per week.
With an 84% pass accuracy and good shot-stopping ability, Bravo ticks all the boxes of what Pep Guardiola wants in a goalkeeper for City’s new style of football. Only Manuel Neuer has kept more clean sheets in Europe’s top five leagues since the 2014/15 season than Bravo.
