Time to catch up on today’s news – here’s your City Summary:

Within 24 hours of announcing the signing of Leroy Sané, City have completed the signing of another ‘wonderkid’ – Gabriel Jesus.

Jesus expressed his delight at joining ‘one of the best clubs in the world’, whilst praising his new manager, Pep Guardiola.

Unfortunately we won’t see Jesus in City colours until January, as he is staying at his current club, Palmeiras, on loan until December/January. If you can’t wait that long, you will be able to catch him playing for Brazil in the Olympics.

There seems to be a mutual love between Jesus and Brazil legend, Ronaldo. Former Blues star, Robinho, has also wished him well.

The signings of Sané and Jesus have led to City youngster, Bersant Celina, looking to move (on loan) in search of first team football. Unfortunately for him, a proposed move to FC Twente has broken down.

Fellow EDS youngsters, Brandon Barker and Kean Bryan, will be making the move to Holland on loan. They will be playing in the Jupiler League for City’s partnered club, NAC Breda.

City today found out slightly more about who they will be facing in their Champions League qualifier game, later this month.

In preparation for the start of the season, City played a behind closed doors friendly today, the details of which are unknown. There has been no official coverage from the club or any other outlets, although it is believed to have been against Scottish team St Johnstone.

And some good news to end today’s City Summary; Ilkay Gundogan has told the club’s official site about how his recovery is going and when he plans to make his debut for The Blues
