He arrived in Spain a couple of days ago ahead of a loan move to Deportivo La Coruña, but new information today reveals that the deal is on hold for the moment.
According to local source, La Voz de Galicia, City and his club Atlético Nacional have still not quite reached a definitive agreement for his transfer. Because of this, Deportivo have had to cancel his medical and unveiling, both of which were planned for today.
The La Liga club expected to be able to present him as their eleventh signing of a busy summer on Tuesday, but will continue to wait for an announced agreement between the Colombian and English sides.
Deportivo believe the youngster may not be able to play much until September, because he needs rest and will then have to be integrated into the team and style of play.
