Time to catch up on today’s news – here’s your City Summary:

Marlos Moreno’s transfer to Manchester City now appears to only be missing the official confirmation from the two clubs, after his current side, Atletico Nacional, won the Copa Libertadores last night.

Another man who has seemingly confirmed a move to The Etihad is Brazilian wonderkid, Gabriel Jesus. That’s according to FOX Sports.

Pep Guardiola gave updates today on the progress of deals for Leroy Sane and John Stones, as well as an explanation for a lack of minutes in pre-season for Samir Nasri.

Guardiola admitted that he was unhappy about the lack of time he has to get the team playing ‘his way’, before the start of the season.

On the pitch, City secured their first victory of the Guardiola era, beating Borussia Dortmund on penalties, after a 1-1 draw in the International Champions Cup. Be sure to check out match report.

Jesus Navas has been involved in both of City’s pre-season games but the rumours linking him with a move away from The Etihad persist. Sevilla seem the most likely destination.

According to the Mirror, City are struggling to offload their deadwood due to large fees putting clubs off making moves.

There have been numerous reports in the past few days claiming that Sergio Aguero returned to the club overweight, but today he silenced his critics by scoring City’s first goal under Guardiola. We love you just the way you are, Sergio.
