According to the Guardian, City are set to take their summer spending to over £100 million with the signings of Leroy Sané, Gabriel Jesus and Marlos Moreno.
The Telegraph also reports that City are close to completeing deals for Sané and Jesus, however have no mention of Moreno.
The deals aren’t without their complications though, a deal between Gabriel Jesus and City is taking longer to complete due to the time differences between China and Brazil – as a result, negotiations are slower than expected.
Txiki Begiristain is confident that City will complete a move for Leroy Sané, however City’s valuation of the player is £5 million less than that of Schalke’s, which currently stands at £41.8 million.
The final one, is Marlos Moreno. The 19-year-old Colombian has reportedly agreed a deal with City which will cost the Manchester club around £8 million.
The stories have been reported by multiple outlets since around 12 o’clock – one can only guess that a media brief has been issued by Manchester City and as a result, the deals may be very close.
