There’s been plenty of talk that Kolarov will be heading over to Turkey to play for Besiktas and it is rumoured that the Turkish giants have agreed a deal with both the club and the player.
The figures that have been reported in the past were a £3 million transfer fee as well as £2 million per annum in wages – City did originally want more for the player, however Kolarov reportedly asked City to lower their expectations in order for the move to go ahead.
It’s expected that Kolarov won’t be part of Pep’s plans next season despite the player being back in training at the City Football Academy.
It is believed that Kolarov’s switch to Besiktas will be officially announced once Gökhan Töre is confirmed a West Ham United player – a move that has been delayed due to Eid celebrations.
