Manchester City have completed their second signing of the day with the capture of highly-rated Swiss youth international Lorenzo Gonzalez from Servette.
The striker has been linked with a move to the Etihad for months, with earlier reports suggesting City had to overcome the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United to sign the 16-year-old.
Sky Italia transfer master Gianluca Di Marzio has tonight reported details of the deal, which sees Gonzalez sign a four-year contract. Di Marzio also posted a photo of Gonzalez with his entourage after he signed his contract.
Lorenzo himself has also confirmed the move, with a personal message.

The forward is said to be a huge prospect and last season scored 23 goals and registered 18 assists in just 14 appearances in the under-15 league. He is likely to start in City’s under-18 team, though there has been a trend recently of promoting players as young as 16 to the EDS (under-21) side.
Footage of Gonzalez is scarce, but in this compilation video he looks quite a talent!
