Manchester City begin a new era with ‘Man City’ rebrand

To mark the start of a new era for the club, Manchester City has rebranded its internet presence to ‘Man City’ tonight.

No longer is the official website – you’ll now be redirected to, which sports a new design. ‘Responsive, more content & co-created with fans.’ is how it is described by the club’s digital operations team.

The famous @MCFC Twitter name is also no longer in use, and from now on the official Twitter account can be found at @ManCity.

As a few have pointed out, there is a distinct lack of FC (Football Club), which was excluded from the new club crest, on any of the rebranded platforms.

The official CityTV account also has a new look, with a banner showing Pep Guardiola, who will be officially presented this weekend.

Not only is Pep Guardiola arriving, but it appears to be a whole new era for the club from a presentation and branding perspective.
