According to Spanish publication El Confidencial, Manchester City have entered the race to sign James Rodriguez from Real Madrid but may fail to beat PSG to his signature.
The Colombian hasn’t had the best of times at Real Madrid since his £63 million move and could be on the move from Santiago Bernabeu. City are one of the teams linked by El Confidencial, however they are currently facing stiff competition from Chelsea, but it’s PSG who lead the way.
It’s not the first time City have been linked with the winger as Real Madrid look to cash in Rodriguez to fund a potential move for Paul Pogba. City were linked back in March by AS, as well as SPORT earlier this month.
The 24-year-old is reportedly keen to join Unai Emery in the French capital and it is likely a move would go ahead if PSG can meet Real Madrid’s £53 million valuation.
