Daily Mail: Manchester City lead race for Manchester United target

According to the Daily Mail, City have moved ahead of rivals United in the race to sign talented 19-year-old Marlos Moreno from Atletico Nacional.

Moreno has scored 5 goals for his current club having made 26 appearances and also bagged his first international goal at the Copa America this year.

Benfica and Barcelona are also reportedly interested in the player, with the latter sending scouts out to Columbia to assess his ability with a view to develop the player further in Spain.

However, it’s City who lead the race for the winger, often referred to as “South America’s hottest prospect” over the last year.
