According to the Argentinian newspaper Diario Olé, City have clinched a deal for Velez’s highly-rated playmaker Benjamin Garré. Garré is only 15 years old (he turns 16 on July 11th) but he has already generated a lot of excitement in his home country, with Olé describing him as ‘the best around’, and an ‘intelligent left-footed player with a good shot.’
Velez are understandably said to be extremely unhappy with the situation as they stand not to receive a fee for their exciting youngster after Garré’s parents’ decision to authorise the move privately. It should also be noted that Benjamin is the grandson of the 1986 World Cup Winner Oscar Garré.

The subsequent tweet also states that Benjamin’s grandfather Oscar has already told a radio station that his grandson will be playing for Manchester City next season:
Lo confirma Oscar Garré en @DEPORTEMAS_OK. Benjamín Garré, su nieto, se va a jugar a Manchester City con apenas 15 años.
