According to Sky Sports Italia and Guardian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have agreed a fee for Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
However, there are still some details to iron out before any move can go ahead – the main issues being Aubameyang’s agent’s demands for both himself and his client. Aubameyang’s camp would like the player to receive a contract that will run up until 2021 which will see him earn a figure of around €12m/season.
As well as this, his agent wants to receive a transfer fee for the move of around €10m which City are currently refusing to pay.
The previous stumbling block was as a result of Dortmund’s excessive demands, however both clubs and reached an agreement and City are free to talk to Aubameyang.
