In recent days, there have been separate reports on the future of Manchester City midfielder Seko Fofana. The first, from L’Equipe in France, claimed he would join Udinese on a four-year deal from City.
Soon after, things became confused as Gianluca Di Marzio suggested that Watford, who are owned by the Pozzo family like Udinese, could sign the 21-year-old then ship him off to the Serie A club.
Today, Guardian journalist Ed Aarons has tweeted that the former France youth international will sign for Udinese and that City will get a quite impressive fee of £3 million for a player with just one year left on his existing contract.
