Earlier today, we posted new shots of what looks to be Manchester City’s home shirt for next season. Of course, this design isn’t 100% official until City say so, but the number of leaks suggest it’s legitimate.
We also posted these pictures on Twitter and the response has been quite one-sided. Many City fans are quite horrified at Nike’s latest design, but there are some who don’t mind or are waiting to see jazzed up photos of it. Here’s some of the feedback:
Steady on Ste!
If that is actually City's new kit I'm downing tools and supporting United.

Not everyone hates it. Stick it on Aguero and it’ll probably look great.
@City_Watch I think it will lok better on players/people if you look at the same national kits they look good when they are on someone

When you hate a kit so much, you try and convince yourself the photo is 40-odd years old.

Do Nike care about the club’s traditions or did they whip this up in five minutes using their template designer?
@City_Watch seriously though what is this…not sky blue, navy sleeves. Not city for me.SAD when Melbourne and nycfc look more city than city

This lad would prefer unconsciousness to the new home strip. Could it really be that bad?
@City_Watch this makes me want to repeatedly punch myself in the face!

A question to revisit in a month or two?
@City_Watch worst city shirt ever? Very possible
