News broke earlier this week that Manchester City starlet Seko Fofana was heading to Serie A side Udinese on a 4-year deal.
There have been new updates today from Di Marzio, who agrees with the report from L’Equipe that 21-year-old Fofana could head to Udinese, but in a slightly unusual way.
Like Udinese, Premier League side Watford and La Liga club Granada are owned by the Pozzo family, and there has been lots of player trading between the three in recent years. According to the latest report, it could be Watford, not Udinese, who purchase the midfielder outright, before more than likely loaning him to the Serie A side.
Talks are said to be well underway but not complete yet, with the former France youth international on his way out of the Etihad.
