JOE HART – 6
Given no chance with Ayew’s deflected free kick, and all in all he’s had a very good season.
BACARY SAGNA – 6
Struggled with the pace of Routledge at times, although he supported Navas very well in an attacking sense.
NICOLAS OTAMENDI – 6
If he’s going to survive under Pep, he needs to learn when to stay on his feet and when to dive in. His composure from the back is excellent though.
ELIAQUIM MANGALA – 6
Played reasonably well, although at times his passing was erratic.
GAEL CLICHY – 7 (Man of the Match)
Destroyed the right flank of Swansea’s in the first half, and was solid defensively.
JESUS NAVAS – 6
Works very hard, but his final ball is too often a disappointment.
FERNANDO – 6
Unlucky with the deflection for Ayew’s goal, but he worked hard and helped us control the game. He’s improved massively this season.
FERNANDINHO – 6
Plenty of energy and endeavour, but his final pass was poor, although it’s harsh to criticise as he’s been our player of the season.
KEVIN DE BRUYNE – 5
Ineffective for the most part, seemed to struggle to have any influence, though it’ll be different next season under Pep.
KELECHI IHEANACHO – 6
Scored our only goal, but his all round game was poor, his positioning was erratic, and his first touch was dreadful at times.
SERGIO AGUERO – 5
Quiet. Spurned some glorious chances, and missed the chance to take home the golden boot.
SUBS:
SAMIR NASRI – N/A
Came on with 20 minutes to go, but hard to remember any telling contribution.
YAYA TOURE – N/A
No time to mark.
