Time to catch up on today’s news – here’s your City Summary:

Quite a large amount of injury news today, so I’ll start by running through those updates. First up is some bizarre news from the Real Madrid camp:

News from Portugal suggests that the forward has suffered a ‘micro tear’ and will be out for three weeks:

Bit of a theme building here, but Ronaldo (yes, again) and Benzema both missed out on Real Madrid training today:

Some good news, and some bad. Samir Nasri returns for the game against Southampton, but David Silva is likely to be out for 2-3 weeks due to a hamstring injury:

Congratulations goes out to EDS starlet Ashley Smith-Brown, who has signed a new 3-year deal with the club:

There’s often news about Yaya Toure’s City future, with a move to Inter possibly opening up after all, but other reports say his demands are likely to put the Italian side off:

Talking about futures, the latest on Pellegrini is that he has been offered a contract to join Javi Garcia at Zenit St Petersburg:

Pellegrini also offered his thoughts on City’s fixture against Southampton, and the short gap between that and the Champions League semi-final:

According to the Telegraph, City could yet sign both Laporte and Stones this summer:

And finally, some good news for one of City’s stand out performers this year, as Fernandinho has been named in Brazil’s preliminary 40-man squad for Copa América 2016:

That’s it for today. Keep your eyes peeled on @City_Watch and the site, day and night, as we work to deliver the latest City news, views, and other high-quality content.
