JOE HART – 6
Quite a high rating for a keeper who conceded three goals. However, it could have been much worse if not for some excellent saves. Given no chance by any of Leicester’s goals today.
PABLO ZABALETA – 5
We’ve missed his attacking runs down the right, but we look more solid defensively with Sagna on the pitch. Dives into tackles and looks a yard off the pace.
MARTIN DEMICHELIS – 4
Very poor today. Leicester clearly targetted him, and for all his footballing intelligence his lack of legs was a huge issue. Awful on the second Leicester goal.
NICOLAS OTAMENDI – 5
After an excellent performance against Sunderland, this can only be described as a sales car crash. Slow across the ground, rash into tackles, he has to start showing more leadership.
ALEKSANDR KOLAROV – 4
A shocking performance by Kolarov. He lacked any real quality going forward and was given a torrid time by the tricky Mahrez.
FERNANDINHO – 6
Full of the typical energy you’d expect, but he lacked quality on the ball and was guilty of losing possession on numerous occasions.
YAYA TOURE – 4
There comes a point when you have to start wondering if he deserves his inclusion into the side. Shirked all defensive responsibility and slowed us down far too much in possession.
RAHEEM STERLING – 5
In a game where we needed him to show us all his quality, he seemed to hide. Always looking for Kolarov on the overlap rather than taking some responsibility himself. Has to start offering more.
DAVID SILVA – 4
Another abject showing to add to his growing collection. In years gone by, this is the game where he’d take responsibility, but he seems disinterested. Jogging with the ball and running without it, he seems way off the pace. Another injury won’t help.
FABIAN DELPH – 7 (Man of the Match)
The only player to come out of today with any real credit. Time and time again he ran at the Leicester defence, trying to insert a bit of urgency into our play. Pellegrini is doing him no favours playing him out wide.
SERGIO AGUERO – 6
Another goal, but a very quiet performance. Shackled well by the Leicester defence, he was isolated and struggled to really have an impact on the game.
FERNANDO – 5
Was brought on to shield the back four, but failed to do so. Seemed a yard slower than the opposition, and his limitations when in a midfield two were clear for all to see.
KELECHI IHEANACHO – 5
Was brought on with us two goals down, and because of this it became difficult for him to get involved in the game. Another learning curve for him.
BERSANT CELINA – 6
Despite the score, it was refreshing to see Celina when he came on. Provided a sumptuous cross for Aguero’s goal, and seemed to give us a new dimension. He can be pleased with his contribution.
