Kelechi Iheanacho has posted a public farewell to Manchester City, thanking everyone from the fans to the cleaners in a two minute video.
The 20-year-old, who has joined Leicester City in a £25million deal, also gave special mention to former City boss Manuel Pellegrini for giving him a chance in the first team. And despite his chances becoming limited once Pep Guardiola took over, Kelechi also thanked Pep for helping him to grow as a player.
Kelechi finished his message by saying, “I thank you all for being there for me, for helping me to get where I am today. I thank you, I will never forget you guys, I love you all. I will never forget you. Thank you very much, from Kelechi.”
This may not be the last we see of Kelechi at the Etihad Stadium, with Man City chiefs including a £50million buy-back clause in the deal that saw him join Leicester.
