As City Watch revealed on Saturday, Horsfield is not joining the newly-promoted Eredivisie on loan, as six other young Man City players have, but on a permanent deal. He will spend the next three seasons at the Rat Verlegh Stadion after joining on a free transfer.
Horsfield made a good impression on loan at Stijn Vreven’s side last season after joining on 7 January 2017, making 20 appearances with one goal and three assists to his name.
The versatile player will join Pablo Marí, Angeliño, Thierry Ambrose, Manu García, Paolo Fernandes and Thomas Agyepong, all of whom have joined the City Football Group partner club on loan ahead of next season.
