Paris Saint-Germain are making a last minute attempt to snatch Dani Alves from under the noses of Manchester City, French news site le10sport reports.
The 34-year-old is expected in Manchester early next week for a medical and signing, but the fact he has yet to put pen to paper has encouraged the Ligue 1 giants, who have ‘received intelligence’ from the Brazilian’s camp that has led to them making a play for the veteran right-back.
As le10sport points out, this is a very late move and probably too late for the Parisiens to be successful, with Alves’ links to Pep Guardiola likely to be strong enough to prevent PSG from successfully hijacking one of the biggest coups of the summer.
With that said, until Alves signs his Manchester City contract, PSG have some hope. As the source of this information in France puts it, ‘tiny, but real hope.
