City Summary – June 29: West Ham accept transfer conditions, mystery centre-back signing, £40m for Walker

It’s time to catch up on today’s news – here’s your City Summary:

Manchester City are alone in the race to sign Alexis Sanchez and a deal would need to be over the £50 million mark if Arsenal are to let him go:

The lack of apparent competition means that City are relaxed about a deal and will not rush as Arsenal risk Sanchez leaving on a free transfer if they don’t sell this year:

A centre-back could also be on the list of arrivals although who is a mystery:

It’s official! Dani Alves’ contract at Juventus has been terminated ahead of a move to Manchester City:

Alves will face competition for a regular spot with Kyle Walker, as long as City match the £40 million valuation:

Nolito is expected to depart the club in the near future and Sevilla have pretty much sealed a deal although Celta Vigo may offer some late resistance:

Kelechi Iheanacho could join him out of the door, it’s believed that West Ham have accepted a buy-back clause in a deal:

It looks like Manchester City wanted to start the new season with both Gerónimo Rulli and Ederson Moraes, however Rulli wasn’t happy with only being guaranteed FA Cup games:

And finally, it looks like Manchester City have decided to enter the Checkatrade Trophy from next season, in which the youth side will face League One and League Two clubs:

That’s it for today. Keep your eyes peeled on @City_Watch and the site, day and night, as we work to deliver the latest City news, views, and other high-quality content.
