Referee appointed for Manchester City vs. Leicester City

Manchester City meet Leicester City in the penultimate home game of the season on Saturday lunch-time, an occasion that will also mark the fifth anniversary of Sergio Aguero’s famous title-winning goal against QPR.

Bobby Madley has been appointed referee for the game, the 31-year-old referee taking charge of his first Manchester City fixture since the 3-0 win away at Hull City on Boxing Day.

Madley was also the referee for City’s win at Crystal Palace in November and the 2-1 win over Sunderland at the Etihad all the way back in August, the promising early days of the season when it looked so certain that Pep Guardiola’s side would challenge for the Premier League title.

Full appointments for Manchester City vs. Leicester:

Referee: Bobby Madley
Assistants: P Kirkup, A Holmes
Fourth official: P Tierney
