Referee appointed for Manchester City vs. Crystal Palace

Michael Oliver has been named referee for Manchester City’s home clash with Crystal Palace this weekend, as the Blues look to take advantage of having three home games in their final four fixtures.

Still only 32 years of age, Oliver is an experienced referee having been in the top-flight since 2010. This will be his first City appointment since March 19, when he took charge of the match 1-1 draw with Liverpool, handing out six yellow cards that afternoon.

Prior to that, Oliver oversaw City’s 5-0 demolition of West Ham in the FA Cup back in January, keeping his cards in his pocket.

Here are the full appointments for Manchester City vs. Crystal Palace:

Referee: Michael Oliver
Assistants: J Collin, E Smart
Fourth official: Jon Moss
