Gabriel Jesus is one of many of football’s brightest young talents to be nominated for Tuttosport’s Golden Boy award this year, a prestigious prize that has previously been won by the likes of Sergio Agüero, Raheem Sterling, Mario Balotelli, Lionel Messi and Paul Pogba.

The 19-year-old Samba sensation is joined on a 98-strong list by three other young City starlets in the form of Pablo Maffeo (on loan at Girona), Enes Ünal (on loan at Twente) and Tosin Adarabioyo.

It will be tough for Gabriel Jesus to win an award that is also contested by Gianluigi Donnarumma (AC Milan), Kylian Mbappé (Monaco), Ousmane Dembelé (Borussia Dortmund) and last year’s winner Renato Sanches (Bayern Munich), but he is certainly in with a shout after some stunning performances following his arrival in January.

You can vote for Gabriel Jesus, Maffeo, Ünal, Tosin or any of the other candidates at this link.
