Marca today report that Manchester City, PSG and Galatasaray are set to go head-to-head for Real Madrid defender, Pepe, whose contract expires at the La Liga giants at the end of the season.

It was looking like Pepe would join both former Real Madrid and Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini’s Hebei China Fortune, however he has now decided that he would like to continue playing in Europe in order to play one last World Cup in 2018.

Both Pep Guardiola and Unai Emery have sent an enquiry to Pepe’s agent, Jorge Mendes, in order to ask about his clients availability at the end of the season and whether he would be interested in taking a new journey in England or France. Another club linked with Pepe are Turkish giants Galatasaray, although the appeal of Manchester City and PSG look likely to beat that of Galatasaray.

Pepe requested a 2-year contract from Real Madrid but had his request denied, however both Manchester City and PSG would be willing to offer him that deal.
